Greg Whiddon has had an extensive career in education, as a teacher, principal and at system wide senior management level. He has also worked as an adviser and consultant within the education and training sector in Australia and overseas, especially in the areas of strategic management and planning, data analysis, the use of technology in educational settings and curriculum development.
In NSW he worked as Chief Education Officer in charge of strategic planning and annual reporting. He also worked for a number of years in Papua New Guinea as Deputy Executive Director and Director of Education with the International Education Agency.
Greg established his own successful consultancy and software development company which assisted schools and education systems gather and analyse meaningful information about student performance across the curriculum.
He has considerable experience in policy development and has advised several boards on governance and management issues. Greg has also managed Ausaid projects in the Pacific region, designed to develop the leadership skills of those working in government agencies.
