Your Health in Your Hands

Building digital health literacy so people can make informed, confident choices to support their health and wellbeing online.

Digital health literacy skills are critical to ensuring every Australian has the ability to make informed, confident choices when it comes to supporting their health and wellbeing online. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown just how important it is for all Australians to have equal access to online health services and information.

With more and more health services being offered digitally, helping people build basic skills and confidence online opens up options such as seeing a doctor or specialist via telehealth, accessing mental health support and being in control of your own health information.

Your Health in Your Hands is a digital health literacy program delivered by Good Things Foundation Australia in partnership with the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA). The program is designed to improve people’s uptake and confidence using My Health Record, supporting them to gain the essential digital skills and confidence to manage their health and wellbeing.
